Introduction
Compulsory department has been a part of Central Campus of Technology since establishment. It has played a crucial role in managing the programs of different compulsory subjects like English, Statistics and Mathematics. Faculties of this department involves in teaching and learning activities in all departments of Central Campus of Technology. Four year’s Statistics and Mathematics programs are running under this department. In province number 1, four year’s statistics program is running in Central Campus of Technology only.
Bachelor of Science in Statistics (B.Sc.Statistics) and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (B.Sc.Mathematics) is an under graduate program offered by Tribhuvan University (TU) under the management of Institute of Science and Technology (IoST). It is a four-year annual degree program total that includes theory and laboratory practical. The duration of this degree program was changed from 3 years to 4 years from the year 2069 B.S. to provide international standard of education to students at reasonable price in Nepal.
